2008 SEASON:

Prior to the start of the 2008 Season, The Angels were able to sign another Centerfielder from the Minnesota Twins--Tori Hunter. He has proven to be a great asset for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, as the team had one of its most productive regular seasons ever. The Angels were the only team in Major League Baseball to win 100 Games in the Year 2008; and again, the L.A. Angels of Anaheim clinched the Division Championship early. Unfortunately again, they made an early exit from the Post Season, compliments of the Boston Red Sox.

"Do not drink and drive."

On his Major League Debut with the Angels of Anaheim, Nick Adenhart pitched a good game, only to have his life snatched away on April 10, 2009 by a hit and run drunk driver. What's worse is this driver had a suspeneded license from other incidents where he was DUI. He was killed in Fullerton just hours after he pitched for the first time for The Angels. One concept that can never be stressed enough is "Do not drink and drive!"
